On the Move – Live Magazines
We are delighted to have been featured in an article on Live Magazines.
Always looking ahead, Whalley Home Improvements’ move to bigger premises heralds an exciting new chapter for this respected company.
One of the Ribble Valley’s outstanding business successes continues to flourish with a move to bigger premises, which will feature a ‘showroom of the future!’
Award-winning Whalley Home Improvements remains on the smart, timber-clad Mitton Road Business Park, taking over a unit almost three times that of their previous one to accommodate storage, loading, recycling and office space-along with a huge showroom that will represent a unique collaboration with other premium local businesses.
“We are a one-stop-shop for home improvements,” says Emma Hodgkinson, who, with co-founder Graham Fielden, set up the business four years ago.
Since then, Whalley Home Improvements has forged a reputation for its unrivalled workmanship and faultless customer service – having worked on extensions, replacement windows and doors, conservatories and orangeries throughout the region.
Working with world-class suppliers such as Rockdoor, Ultraframe, Affordable Window Systems, and Timberlook Flush Sash, Whalley Home Improvements have the very best products at their fingertips and a team of more than 20 in-house skilled craftsmen.
Their reputation goes before them, and the move to bigger premises will serve to enhance the services and products they are able to offer.
With a full project management service, Emma and the team have, over the years, forged alliances with other prestigious suppliers, and these will be showcased alongside Whalley Home Improvements’ products in the new showroom.
“Working on a variety of projects, customers can be assured that the team are familiar and knowledgeable about all the premium products they work with.”
Emma explains: “For example, if someone wanted to have a bath or shower room in a new ground floor extension, we have a trusted supplier of sanitary ware and tiles plus a team of skilled plumbers, plasterers, and electricians. Visitors to the showroom may like a certain floor tile from one room set – and they may see specialist lighting that they want in another room set.
“It’s going to be very much a first-class ‘mix-and-match’ service with everything on hand so customers can see, feel and operate windows and doors, they can get the feel of a conservatory and see how it could fit into their lifestyle. If they have always dreamt of having a cosy log burner in there, they can see how one would look. All the people who we are collaborating with operate with the same ethos as Whalley Home Improvements – that is, to provide the best quality products and services.
“We have worked alongside these trusted providers for many years, so we know they have the skills to carry out any project.”
Having worked for Ultraframe, Emma is the first point of contact at Whalley Home Improvements. She has many years of experience within the industry and sees projects through from initial concept right through to completion, visiting clients on-site to check that work is progressing as planned and on budget.
Producing CAD drawings for extensions and orangeries means clients can see which windows and doors will best suit the style of their new living space – and with the new showroom, they will also be able to physically see them to visualise how they will look like in situ.
Whalley Home Improvement have freedom and flexibility with their products as they aren’t tied to any one manufacturer, enabling them to procure the best quality product for any given project. From aluminium, crittall-style windows and French doors, maintenance-free PVC or attractive sash windows for a heritage property, there is a huge choice.
“Emma and Graham are confident the new showroom will give their customers a ground-breaking solution to all their home improvement projects’.
Working on a variety of projects, from prestigious listed buildings to small extensions, replacing polycarbonate roofing on conservatories to installing a smart new secure Rockdoor – whatever the task, customers can always be assured that the team from Whalley Home Improvements are familiar and knowledgeable about all the premium products they work with.
The new showroom, which will soon be underway, is expected to be completed by autumn and Emma and Graham are confident it will give their customers a ground-breaking solution to all their home improvement projects – no matter how large or small.
In the meantime, Whalley Home Improvements continues to build on its reputation for delivering a first-class, friendly service.
With no appointment needed, call Whalley Home Improvement’s new unit to discuss any potential project and get advice from a member of the team.
